Introduction to Fourier Transform and Convolution. Introduction to Analogue and Digital Signals and their importance in Computer Engineering. Introduction to Modulation, Amplitude Modulation, Frequency and Phase Modulation. Transmission media. Concept of Demodulation. Use of modems in transmission and reception of analogue and digital data. Introduction to Frequency Division Multiplexing ON_OFF keying, Frequency Shift Keying, Phase Shift keying

Nyquist Sampling, Sampling Theorem, Introduction to Time- Division Multiplexing. analogue to Digital Conversion, Puls Code Modulation, Binary Codes for TRansmission (NRZ, RZ, AMI, HDB3, Manchester Code) Delta Modulation, Adaptive Delta Modulation, Commanding Quantizaion Noise and Compounding in PCM, u-Law and A- Law Companding. TDM of Digital Signals, Bit-Interleaved Multiplexer and Bit Stuffing, Frame Loss and Acquisition.

NOTE: PRACTICAL WILL BE BASED ON THEORY
