The degree in B.E. (Software Engineering)
was realized as the need of present and future
time to come. The courses of both the programs
have been revised to provide hands on experience
in Software as well as hardware of Computer
Engineering as per the need of Job Market.
The Department has established eight well
equipped laboratories having latest addition
of Hardware and Software facilities.

Networking Lab
Microprocessor Application Lab
Digital Image Processing Lab.
Advance Software Engineering & Research
Lab.
Multimedia and Visual Studio Lab.
Internet and Data Management Lab.
Software Development Lab.
Latest addition of PC’s i.e. P-II and
P-IV supported by Compaq Prolient Servers are
available in Laboratories of the Department
on 1.1 ratio basis. The Labs. Are working in
networked as well as on stand-alone bases. Extensive
internet access facility is available for staff
as well as students of both Undergraduate and
Postgraduate Students. The latest environment
of data warehousing and data mining has been
installed in data management Lab., in collaboration
with NCR Corporation. Tera data survers alongwith
work stations are installed to give students
the hands on experience in latest technology.
The laboratory facilities also include computers
state-of-art environment like: Microprocessor
trainers, Digital Simulation Systems, Digital
Image Processing Computer, Vision Systems, Computer
Plotters for CAD, Web Cameras, Multimedia Projectors,
Color Laser Printers etc.
All the courses and laboratory work are supported
by the latest addition of software packages
are available in the Lab.
