Program Mission & Vision
The Department of Electronic Engineering is committed to research and teaching excellence. Our highly qualified academic staff includes professors, associate professors and lecturers.
We aim to develop graduates who are competent in the fundamentals of electronic engineering with wider transferable skills in communication, team-working, organizational awareness and project management. Our students are able to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of employers both within and outside the specialized sector.
We train students to be independent & innovative thinkers; equip them with technical expertise to plan, design and operate latest electronic devices, circuits and instruments; and to assist them in achieving success in a wide range of careers.
Additionally, the department is actively engaged in research activities and our academic staff are recognized in a number of research areas. Our strong research background has a positive impact on the quality of teaching, exposing our students to cutting-edge knowledge.
