1.      B.E. in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering & Management, Textile, Chemical, Petroleum & Natural Gas, Environmental, Computer Systems, Software, Electronic,  Telecommunication, Mining, Metallurgy & Materials, Bio Medical Engineering 

1.   Candidates, who have passed the HSC Part-II (Pre-Engineering) in Annual     Examination 2014 or prior up to Annual Examination 2012 with at least B-Grade 60% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for admission, under Regular, Self Financing Scheme, and Special Scheme.

2.   The Candidates having H.S.C. Part-II in (General Science) with at least B-Grade 60% aggregate marks are only eligible for Computer Systems, Software, Electronic,  Telecommunication Engineering

3.   The Candidates having H.S.C. Part-II in (Pre-Medical) with at least B-Grade 60% aggregate marks are only eligible for Bio-Medical Engineering.


2.      Bachelor of Architecture, and City & Regional Planning.

As mentioned at (1) above.

3.      a. B.E in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, assChemical, Petroleum and Electronics saaEngineering on Diploma basis.

b.xBachelor of Architecture on Diploma   cccbasis.

Diploma of Associate Engineer in the relevant Technology (for Chemical Engineering Diploma in Chemical/Glass & Ceramics Technology) having at least 60% aggregate marks ) in Annual     Examination 2014 or prior up to Annual Examination 2012, under Regular Scheme.


Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, SZAB Campus, Khairpur Mir’s

B.E in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering.

As mentioned at (1) above.

Admission Forms:

Admission Form and a copy of Prospectus can be obtained from 04-09-2014 to 16-09-2014 from designated branches of Habib Bank Limited on payment of Rs.2500/- each. After getting registered with online system and obtaining registration number, the candidate has to provide all the required information / data to online system. The admission form along with photo state copies of required documents be deposited in the same branch of Bank or send by mail under Registered post to the undersigned from 04-09-2014 to 19-09-2014.

(No any admission form will be accepted without going through online registration and getting valid registration number)

Pre-Admission Test:

1.      All eligible candidates shall be required to appear in the Pre-Admission Test at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro on Sunday the 26th October, 2014 at 10.00 am.


2.      The candidates failing to appear in the Test will automatically stand disqualified for admission.

3.      Admit Slip for Pre-Admission Test will be sent under Courier service. The admit Slip (original) issued by the University should be produced by the candidate at the time of the test.

4.      If any candidate does not receive his/her Admit Slip, he/she may contact for the same to the          undersigned from 20-10-2014 to 24-10-2014 during office hours.

After 24-10-2014 duplicate admit slips shall not be issued at any circumstances.

5.      The candidates will be required to report at the Examination Centre for Test at least one hour before the start of the pre-admission test.

Admission Schedule:

i)    The result of pre-admission test shall be announced on the website on 28-10-2014.

ii)   Re-checking of test paper if desire by any candidate shall be considered up to 31-10-2014 for

       which he/she will pay Rs.1000/- as re-checking fee to the University.

iii)  Provisional merit list (called for interview) shall be displayed on University Website on     


iv)  Interviews shall be conducted from 10-11-2014 to 15-11-2014 at the University.

v)   The Classes of this Batch shall be started from Monday the 5th January, 2015.
