Applications are invited on the prescribed forms from the candidates domiciled in the Province of Sindh except Karachi for admission in SECOND YEAR Bachelor’s degree course with 10-Batch in the following subjects:

B.TECH: (PASS): Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Technology: One seat in each Engineering discipline

B.SC. (INDUSTRIAL TECH:): 03 seats in Chemical and 02 seats in Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering

QUALIFICATIONS: B.Tech: (Pass)/B.SC. (Industrial Technology) minimum 55% aggregate marks.

DETERMINATION OF MERIT: One percent of aggregate marks will be deducted for each gap of one academic year after matriculation examination from the total marks of the qualifying examination irrespective of the facts whether the qualifying examination has been repeated or the gap has occurred owning to any other reason.

APPLICATION FORMS

1. Application form can be had from the office of Director Admissions, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro on payment of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) through Bank Challan on all working days/hours from 23-08-2010 to 28-08-2010. No admission form shall be issued after the stipulated period.
2. Application form duly completed in all respects accompanied by attested copies of the required documents be deposited in the aforesaid office by or before 02-09-2010.
3. Each column of the application form must be completed and filled-in appropriately. If any column is left blank or any information is found missing, misleading or false, the application form will be rejected. 

ELIGIBILITY

1. Candidates who have passed B.Tech: (Pass)/ B.Sc. (Industrial Technology) examination before the issuance of the application forms upto 2008 are only eligible to apply for admission.
2. Candidates shall be required to appear in the Pre-Admission Test to be conducted on Sunday 17-10-2010 at 09.00 am at Public School, Latifabad No.3, Hyderabad. The right of admission in case of default to appear in the Pre-Admission Test shall be forfeited.  

NOTE
Those candidates who are already in Job/Service are required to submit No Objection Certificate from their employer for grant of three years study leave for studies purpose with admission form failing which their forms shall be liable to rejection.
