For Faculties as per Statutes regarding Eligibility Criteria for Appointment of the Faculty Members under section 46 (1) (a) of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Act, 1977 and Higher Education Commission/Pakistan Engineering Council’s criteria.

Applications are invited from qualified candidates domiciled in the Province of Sindh for recruitment to the following posts at Mehran University College of Engineering & Technology, Khairpur Mir’s and Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro. 12 research publications at least 03 publications in the last three years in HEC / PEC recognized journals.

 

2.      

Professor Mathematics  in BPS-21

Ph.D. from HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field with 15 years teaching / research experience at least 8 years post Ph.D. level experience in HEC recognized University or post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International.

15 research publications at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in the HEC recognized journals.

First Class Master’s Degree OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from HEC recognized University / Institution..

 

The preference will be given to those who have completed the M.Phil from HEC recognized University.

 

The applicant(s) must have valid GRE general type at their credit, with minimum of 50 score conducted by National Testing Service (N.T.S).

 

 

 

 

 

FOR MEHRAN UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, JAMSHORO

1.      

Lecturer in BPS-18

 

Telecommunication Engineering

 

First Class B.E or equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from HEC recognized University / Institution.

 

The preference will be given to those who have completed the M.Phil / Master Degree (18 years education) from HEC recognized University.

 

The applicant(s) must have valid GRE general type at their credit, with minimum of 50 score conducted by National Testing Service (N.T.S).

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Maximum age limit is 50 years for the Professors, 45 years for the Associate Professors and 30 years for the Assistant Professor and others, relaxable in the cases of Government / Semi-Government employees in exceptional cases as well as allowed by Government of Pakistan. Age can be relaxed for the candidates who posses vast experience and higher qualifications.
  2. Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications forms along with bank draft / challan with necessary documents for each post.
  3. Candidates who are already serving in Government / Semi-Government and autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel accompanied by N.O.C. from the employer. An advance copy of the application(s) may be sent, so as to reach within due date.
  4. Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council as professional Engineer is mandatory.
  5. The recruitment against the above mentioned posts shall be made strictly subject to availability of the posts.
  6. Research Publications must be binded/perforated else application form shall not be entertained.
  7. Application or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
  8. Only short listed candidates will be called for written test / interview.
  9. No. T.A / D.A. will be paid for appearing at the written test / interview.
  10. 10.  The posts are purely temporary, but are likely to be continued.
  11. 11.  The University reserves the right to delete any post(s) partially and / or wholly.
