IEEE Women In Engineering (WIE) Mentoring Session

IEEE-MUET Student Branch organized IEEE WIE Mentoring Session at the IICT Video Conferencing Hall, MUET on 4^th September, 2012.

Ms. Sara Rahman Memon (09ES26), Karachi Section Coordinator for Pakistan Mission To Progress (PMP) Survey being conducted by IEEE Pakistan WIE Forum was the resource person.

This session was conducted to inform the female students regarding IEEE WIE & the benefits of joining IEEE WIE. This session was the first step towards the establishment of IEEE WIE Affinity Group (AG) at MUET and to provide a platform to the female students to show their talent in Engineering, Science & Technology and also to make them active socially.

In the end, the Chief Guest of the event, Prof. Dr. BS Chowdhry, Dean, FEECE, MUET & Branch Counselor of IEEE-MUET Student Branch, praised the efforts of the Executive Committee of IEEE-MUET Student Branch and the female student members for organizing such an informative session. He also emphasized that these types of events should be organized in the future and showed his full support towards the future events.
