Procurement of Chemicals, Glassware and Equipments

Mehran University invites seals tenders for procurement of Chemicals, Glassware and Equipments (COD reactor and BOD measurement system) from manufactures / general order suppliers who have not been black listed by any procuring authority / agency of the country and are tax payers and having valid registration of income / sales tax with Federal Board of Revenue.

Blanks tenders may be obtained on the payment of Rs. 1, 000 (non-refundable) only through Challan (deposited in HBL Mehran University, Jamshoro Booth) from Purchase Section up to 12-10-2011 till 12-00 Noon. The sealed tenders will be received back at 12-30 pm and opened at 12-30 pm on the same date by the relevant committee in presence of Bidders of their authorized representative who wish to be present. Eligibility conditions for intending participants are as under:

  1. The bidders should submit valid in come Tax / Sales Tax registration certificates and copy of C.N.I.C.
  2. The bidders should submit 2% earnest money of the bid amount in shape of call deposit in favor of the Director Finance. Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro.
  3. The bidders should submit affidavit to the effect that the firm/ Contractor have not been black listed previously by any executing / Procuring agency and all documents / Particulars / Information furnished are true & Correct.
  4. Taxes including Income tax / Sales tax, stamp duty will be recovered as per rules.
  5. The Procuring Agency may reject all or any bids subject to relevant provisions of PPRA Rules.
