MUET secured funding for 25 Final Year Projects in NGIRI 2019

Keeping the tradition of participating in various Research & Development related activities Mehran University of Engineering & Technology has maintained its share part in securing funding in National Grassroots ICT Research Initiative NGIRI for Final Year Projects in 2019 as well. This year total of 64 project proposals were submitted by the Faculty of Electrical, Electronics & Computer Engineering (FEECE) though focal person Dr. Bhawani Shankar Chowdhry from MUET Main Campus. Out of 64, 25 FYP proposals are approved for the grant. The department wise fund approval status is as follows.

The focal person from MUET Main Campus Prof. Dr. Bhawani Shankar Chowdhry appreciated the efforts of Dr. Attiya Baqai for her coordination and assistance to FEECE faculty. The efforts of FEECE Faculty and their respective chairmen are also admirable. Dr. Attiya further acknowledged cooperation of departmental coordinators Dr. Fahim Aziz Umrani(TL), Dr. Samar Zai(CS), Dr. Mohsin Memon(SW), Engr. Shafi Jiskani (EL) & Engr. Sarah Khuwaja (BM) for motivating and helping the students.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili also congratulated and appraised efforts of FEECE Faculty and students for securing a good number in Ignite funding.
