Seminar on Recruitment in Industries by Department of Electronic Engineering

Department of Electronic Engineering held a seminar on Recruitment in Industries (Job Seeking secrets and Interview Preparations) on 30^th August, 2022. The resource person of the seminar was Dr. Irfan Ahmed Halepoto, Associate Professor, Dept. of Electronic Engineering and Convener of Industrial Liaison Committee in the department. Prof. Dr. Arbab Nighat Chairperson, Department of Electronic Engineering also graced the seminar and appreciated the students for their keen interest in their careers and energetic participation. The majority of the audience included the final year students along with the faculty members.

The seminar was focused on enlightening the students career and especially final year students about the process of recruitment and Job seeking after their graduation. Dr Irfan highlighted the steps that the students need to take after their graduation as their first step to achieve their career goals. He discussed the process of recruitment and interviewing of candidates according to the point of view of the industry. He discussed the necessary measures needed to be taken as first steps to achieve their goals, like preparing for technical test, primary interview, benchmark assessment test, final interview along with the behavioral aspects and attitude of conduct along with guiding points. He also greatly highlighted the importance of preparing CV. The lecture was followed by a question and answer session from the students.
