Two Days Gaming Competition

For the first time in the history of MUET, Department of Electronic Engineering (08ES batch) organized a 2 Days LAN Gaming Competition (Counter Strike), in collaboration with the Institute of Information & Communication Technologies (IICT).
The competition was held in the Interactive Cyber Lab in the Department of Electronics Engineering on 14th and 15th of October, 2010. The organizing committee included students of 08ES, Abdul Rehman, S. Zeeshan Ali, Bilal Siddiqui & Ali Ahmed headed by Engr. Khuhed Memon, Engr. Syed Mustafa Shah, Engr. Abbas Shah, Engr. M. Aamir Panhwar, Lecturer Department of Electronic & Bio-Medical Engineering.
16 teams, each comprising of 5 members, from different departments of the university participated in the competition. A live video feed of the competition was available in the lecture hall for the spectators.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. BS Chowdhry, Chairman Department of Electronic & Bio-Medical Engineering, Director IICT. The winning and the runner up teams received cash prizes in the concluding ceremony by Dr. AK Baloch, Dean FEECE, and Dr. BS Chowdhry, Director IICT. All the participants were awarded certificates of the event.
