Meeting of QEC Members with BISE Hyderabad, Sindh

“Meeting of Quality Enhancement Cell Members with Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Hyderabad, Sindh on 05/08/2015”

Team of Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Hyderabad (BISE) came to visit Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET) to meet the members of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) to get possible “Introduction of Quality Assurance Mechanisms in the Board’s Examination Practices, Controller of Examinations” and to visit the “Quality Assurance Cell” of Mehran University Engineering & Technology. The team of BISE comprises of Dr. Muhammad Memon (Chairman BISE Hyd), Mr. Shafiq Ahmed Memon (Secretary BISE Hyd), Dr. Masroor Ahmed Zai (Controller of Examination BISE Hyd) and Aijaz Ahmed (I. T. Manager BISE Hyd).

Prof. Dr. Abdul Sami Qureshi (Director QEC MUET) welcomed the guest with open arms alongwith Dr. Asif Ali Shah (Additional Director QEC) and Mr. Ashfaque Ahmed Khokhar (Deputy Director QEC). On First hand, Director Abdul Sami Qureshi and Dr. Asif Ali Shah showed them highly equipped and sophisticated QEC MUET and then they move forwarded to the Powerpoint Presentation regarding Quality Assurance Practices and its implementation in COE.

Afterwards, the Worthy Vice Chancellor joined the session and he further elaborated the quality assurance matters regarding Controller of Examination. Prof. Dr. Abdul Sami Qureshi updated BISE Hyd members that QEC MUET in collaboration with COE MUET has developed and implemented seven Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and two more SOPs are under review and will be approved and implemented shorty for further enhancement of quality service of COE MUET.

The visit of BISE at MUET ended with thanks from BISE Hyd members to Worthy Vice Chancellor and QEC Members and in response Director and Additional Director QEC offered BISE Hyd for full cooperation regarding implementation of Quality Standards at BISE Hyd.
