Quality Enhancement Cell Organizes Seminar on Postgraduate Program Review and PSG 2023

Hyderabad, Sindh – [21.03.2024] – The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) successfully conducted a seminar today on "Postgraduate Program Review (PGPR)" and provided a preliminary introduction to the recently implemented "Pakistan Precept Standards and Guidelines (PSG) 2023."

The seminar aimed to equip Directors and Coordinators of postgraduate programs at MUET with the necessary knowledge and tools for conducting effective program reviews. Renowned resource person, Mr. Babar Ali Kalhoro from LUMHS Jamshoro, led the session, guiding participants through the PGPR process and its significance in maintaining quality standards in postgraduate education.

The seminar also offered a timely introduction to the PSG 2023, a crucial document outlining quality assurance benchmarks for engineering education programs in Pakistan. Participants gained valuable insights into the key principles of the PSG and its potential impact on postgraduate program development and implementation.
