Ayesha Amin - A young woman helping to transform lives
Ayesha Amin, student of MBA, MUISTD-MUET Jamshoro has been nominated for N-Peace Awards by the United Nations.
International N Peace Awards shine a light on women and men who demonstrate leadership in peace building and empowering their communities.
Ayesha Amin is a vibrant young woman who has been active in the fields of women’s rights, education, and youth mobilization in conflict-affected areas since the young age of 17. During her school years, she would travel to remote areas of Sindh, Pakistan with her mother to volunteer in free medical camps. These trips gave her a deep insight into how women in these areas were deprived of basic rights. Realizing this, she started conducting free awareness-raising sessions on the importance of female education, women’s rights and basic health education in her community.
