REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP)
Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro invites applications from well reputed Consultancy Firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planner (PCATP) for HIRING OF CONSULTANTS FOR SURVEY, MASTER PLANNING, SOIL INVESTIGATION, ARCHITECTURAL & STRUCTURAL DESIGNING, ESTIMATION, BOQS, TENDER DOCUMENTS ETC FOR THE BUILDINGS TO BE CONSTRUCTED AGAINST SCHEME TITLED, “MODERNIZATION OF ACADEMIC & RESEARCH FACILITIES FOR STUDENTS AT MUET, JAMSHORO” FUNDED BY HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSION (HEC), ISLAMABAD.
RFP documents can be obtained from the office of Deputy Director (Procurement), at the address given below from 23-08-2023 to 11-09-2023 during office hours (08:00 am to 03:00 pm) (or can be downloaded from PPRA website i.e. www.ppra.org.pk and University website www.muet.edu.pk/tenders-notices on the payment of Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable) on any working day except the day of opening of tenders through pay order in favor of Deputy Director (Procurement), Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro.
- Bid Security equivalent to 2% of total contract value in the form of Pay Order / Call Deposit in favor of Deputy Director (Procurement), Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro shall be obtained from the bidders.
- Performance Security equivalent to 5% of total contract value in the form of Pay Order / Call Deposit in favor of Deputy Director (Procurement), Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro shall be obtained from the successful bidder.
- The firm will be selected based on “Quality & Cost Based Selection” under procedures described in this Request for Proposals document (RFP"), in accordance PPRA Rules 2004, Govt. of Pakistan.
- Sealed bids will be submitted till 11.30 am on 12-09-2023 in the office of the Deputy Director (Procurement), MUET, Jamshoro, at the address given below and technical bids will be opened on the same day at 12:00 (Noon) in the presence of representatives of participating firms and Consultant Selection Committee (CSC) of the University.
Mehran University of Engineering & Technology reserves the right to reject any or all bids subject to relevant provisions of PPRA Rules, 2004 and may cancel the bidding process at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal under Rule-33(1) of said Rules.
