REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Request for Expression of Interest is invited by Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro from the reputable Consultants as defined in the Sindh Public Procurement (SPP) Rules 2010 (Amended 2013) for hiring Consultants for preparation of Master Plan, Planning & Designing of the works defined in the scope of the development schemes and other works to be cropped up in future against the funds of HEC, Government of Sindh and S.S. Funds / Own resources from time to time at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro and its constituent colleges across Sindh Province.
1. The Consultants shall be required to submit a bid comprises of a single package containing two (02) separate envelopes. Each envelope shall contain separately the ‘Financial Proposal’ and the ‘Technical Proposal’.
2. The Financial Proposals shall be opened of those Consultants whose technical proposal is considered and approved.
3. The Selection of Consultants shall be made on Consultant’s Qualification Selection Method as per Rule-72(7), of SPP Rule, 2010 (amended 2013).
4. Interesting Consultants may obtain the details of the Technical Services required for preparation of Master Plan, Planning & Designing of following works of various schemes on the payment of document fee amounting to Rs. 5,000.00 in shape of Demand Draft / Pay Order (Non-refundable) before the last date of submission of Expression of Interest, which has been fixed as 10-02-2015. The incomplete Expressions or received after due date i.e. 10-02-2015 will not be considered.
(a) Preparation of Master Plan to develop facilities at main campus and its constituent colleges.
(b) Planning & Designing of academic and Students & Staff residential accommodations including allied facilities and services.
(c) Planning & Designing of External Services viz. Water Supply, Gas, Power, Sewerage, Roads, Foot paths, Surface Drainage, Culverts and External Compound walls etc.
Documents can be had from the office of the Deputy Director (Procurement), Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro, personally or by mail on any working day except the day of submission of applications or can be downloaded from SPPRA website i.e. www.pprasindh.gov.pk on the required payment from 07-01-2015 to 09-02-2015 and will be submitted on 10-02-2015 upto 12.00 (Noon) and same will be opened on the same day @ 12.30 P.M in the office of the Director (Works & Services) in presence of the Consultants/ representatives, who so ever will be present at that time
The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids subject to relevant provisions of SPP Rule, 2010 (amended 2013) and may cancel the bidding process at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal under Rule-25” of said Rules.
